who I am
As a qualified psychotherapist psychologist with a degree from the Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela and a master's degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, I have gained significant experience over the past 11 years. My areas of expertise include working with adults in consultation, addressing issues related to parenting, maternity, infidelity, insecurity, low self-esteem, anxiety, troubled relationships, migration, ruptures, communication problems, and trauma.
My focus is on providing a safe and supportive space for my patients. I believe that the relationship and affinity that exists between the therapist and the patient are fundamental in the healing process. I strive to understand the individual, recognizing that each person has unique needs and experiences. In addition, I prioritize the desire, intuition, illusion and optimism of the patient, recognizing that these elements are crucial in the process towards well-being.
As an educator, I also apply a scaffolding approach to therapy, working together with my patients to build a pathway to mental wellness. I believe that meaningful bonds, good relationships, and quality connections are essential in the healing process. My approach is dedicated, gradual, and progressive, and I strive to create an environment that promotes growth, learning, and self-appreciation.
